What was the highlight of Hotel Beatriz Costa
Excellent staff, worth the money paid.
You get what you pay for. Decor and rooms slightly outdated but comfy and mostly clean. I saw a couple of small cockroaches but I guess it can’t be helped in an open environment.
Massages and treatments are paid separately, which is fair. However the increase in prices from 2023 to 2024 is quite something. In May 2023 the Japanese facial massage was 55€, in May 2024 it costs 75€. I understand this could be majorly driven by external therapists (contractors) salary demands, but I was quite surprised to see such increase in most treatments.

An excellent stay. I would stay here again.
Modern facilities. Well laid out. Good selection of food items at each meal. Wide selections of drink including wine at dinner.

Very Good
The hotel was nice, abit remote, but we had a car, it is a lovely hotel but is in need of modernization and some TLC, many things are neglected or not working, but in general was ok
Sofas/ chairs in the public areas were old fashioned and mostly quite uncomfortable, need new cushions etc. Night time entertainment was very poor

Good but spa was closed!
Not the first time I have been here, staff were great as always and I like the location
The spa was closed for my whole 10 day stay for renovation. I'm sure they could have told expecting guests that it would be closed for the whole stay. It really did effect my stay this time sadly
